Shipping & Delivery Policy

We currently coordinate deliveries across all nine South African provinces and selected SADC corridors: Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho, eSwatini, Zambia, Zimbabwe and southern Mozambique.

Cross-border movements require bonded transport, valid SAD500 / CCA1 customs paperwork and a transporter accredited for the destination country. Cross-border ETAs exclude border-post dwell time.

• Bulk diesel / petrol: 500 L minimum into customer-owned tank.
• Drummed deliveries: 1 × 210 L drum minimum (deposit applies).
• LPG bulk: 250 kg minimum into bulk vessel; 9 kg / 19 kg / 48 kg cylinder swaps available at retail nodes.
• Lubricants & additives: priced per SKU, no MOQ.

The price you confirm at checkout includes product, transport, fuel levy, Road Accident Fund (RAF), customs & excise where applicable, and 15% VAT.

Surcharges that may apply (and are always disclosed before you confirm): after-hours delivery, weekend / public holiday, tail-lift or pump-off requirement, demurrage beyond 60 minutes on site, failed delivery re-attempt, and abnormal-load escorts.

All bulk deliveries are metered using SANAS-calibrated flow meters at ambient temperature, with the dispensed volume normalised to 20°C where the supplier offers Volume Correction Factor (VCF) reporting.

Buyers may request a sample at the point of delivery for laboratory analysis (SABS / SANS 342 for diesel, SANS 1598 for petrol). Sample disputes are resolved per the Returns & Refunds Policy.

Every delivery generates a digital POD in your FuelSync inbox containing: GPS coordinates and timestamp of pump-on / pump-off, meter start and end readings, driver name and ID, vehicle registration and tanker compartment, photographs of the seal, dip-stick before and after, and the buyer-side signature captured on the driver's device.

If POD is not generated within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery, the order is automatically flagged for dispute and held in escrow.

Risk in the product passes to the buyer at the point the hose nozzle disengages from the buyer's intake, OR — for cross-docked / drop-shipped deliveries — at the moment the seal is broken in the buyer's presence.

Title passes when funds are released from the FuelSync wallet escrow to the supplier (typically within 60 minutes of POD acceptance).

If a delivery is more than 4 hours late versus the confirmed window, you may cancel without penalty and a full refund is processed to your wallet within 24 hours.

Short deliveries (metered shortfall > 0.5%) are credited back to your wallet on POD reconciliation, without requiring a separate claim.

If a driver arrives but cannot deliver due to site access, tank-full, or absence of an authorised receiver, a failed-delivery surcharge applies and the order may be re-scheduled.

All carriers comply with SANS 10231 (transport of dangerous goods by road), SANS 10089 (petroleum industry), the National Road Traffic Act, and OHSA 85 of 1993. Drivers carry valid DG permits and TREMcards for every load.

Buyers must provide a safe off-loading area: hard standing, no naked flames within 15 m, accessible bunded tank, and an authorised receiver on site.
